Join people throughout the Bay Area in bicycling on the 18th annual Bay Area Bike to Work Day event on Thursday, May 10th! This festive event encourages people to bicycle to work and school, and promotes safe bicycle riding. Over the years, the event has grown to include rides, safety classes, bike-to-the-movies and other events that fill the entire month of May.
The East Bay Bicycle Coalition has put together a list of promotional events planned throughout Alameda County, and 80 energizer stations are available for those who ride their bikes to work on May 10. Over half of the Alameda CTC Board members are participating in Bike to Work Day, and Alameda CTC staff have formed two teams to compete in the Team Bike Challenge.
See the Bike to Work Day flyer and the YouCanBikeThere website for more information and to register.
