The Alameda CTC has released a call for projects for the FY 2012/13 Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA) County Program Manager Fund. As the TFCA program manager for Alameda County, the Alameda CTC is responsible for programming 40 percent of the $4 vehicle registration fee that is collected in Alameda County for this program. Approximately $365,000 of program capacity is currently available for FY 2012/2013. Due to the limited amount of funds, requests for transit and program operations will receive priority for funding.
A project must result in the reduction of motor vehicle emissions within the Bay Area Air Quality Management District’s jurisdiction to be considered eligible for TFCA funding.
Complete application packages are due to the Alameda CTC no later than 3:00 P.M. Friday, May 11, 2012.
Visit the TFCA web page for more information.
