On October 31, 2012, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in San Lorenzo, CA to celebrate completion of the Lewelling Boulevard Improvement Project. Alameda CTC’s Hesperian Boulevard/Lewelling Boulevard Intersection Improvement Project and Lewelling/East Lewelling Boulevard Widening Project are a part of the boulevard improvements.

Alameda County Public Works Director Daniel Daniel Woldesenbet, Union City Mayor Mark Green, Alameda County Supervisor District 3 Wilma Chan and Alameda County Supervisor District 4 Nate Miley cut the ribbon at Lewelling Boulevard and Via Granada.
