Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting Received by Alameda County Transportation Commission for Eleventh Consecutive Year

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) has been recognized for the 11th year in a row for its excellence in financial reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for the year ended June 30, 2023. This award, the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.

Award attainment represents a significant accomplishment and means Alameda CTC’s most recent Annual Comprehensive Financial Report has been judged by an impartial panel to meet the GFOA program’s high standards. This includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate the agency’s financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the report.
