Alameda County’s first Countywide Pedestrian Plan was adopted in 2006. It established a vision for a walkable Alameda County and provided a wealth of information about walking in the County. It also set priorities for countywide projects and programs and estimated a total cost for making these countywide pedestrian improvements.
