About Us
Alameda CTC manages the Student Transit Pass program to support the traveling needs of Alameda County students and promote efficient, cost-effective transit options.
The program started as a pilot in 2016 and in 2024 achieved the major milestone of enrolling every public middle and high school in Alameda County. This expansion ensures that students have access to free bus transportation throughout secondary school, making it easier than ever for them to travel to and from school, jobs, and extra-curricular activities.
During the 2025-26 school year and summer, over 39,000 students at 162 schools in 17 school districts participated in the program.

Program Goals
